Our work speaks for itself.

Robinson+Noble AI Lab is actively engaged in the evolving conversation between human intelligence and artificial intelligence — not as observers, but as participants.

The Gradient Protocol is our podcast dedicated to that exploration. Hosted by Noble alongside Kairo, an AI co-host, the show examines the real and emerging tensions at the intersection of human decision-making, institutional trust, and AI deployment. Each episode draws on empirical research, policy analysis, and lived professional experience to interrogate what AI is actually doing — to our behavior, our systems, and our sense of agency.

What we're aiming to do: Move beyond the hype cycle and the fear cycle — toward honest, evidence-based conversation about where AI is taking us and what choices we still have.

What we're evaluating:

  • Human behavioral reliance on AI and its measurable consequences

  • Institutional and professional ecosystem disruption

  • The authenticity and limitations of AI-generated content

  • Labor displacement and the policy frameworks struggling to keep pace

  • And over the life of the show — how our own perceptions of AI shift as the technology evolves

The Gradient Protocol is where the consulting work meets the open question.
